Clarification on Chinese Salad Page 44

The directions should include:
break up the dry Ramen noodles and toast them in a dry fry pan,
toast the slivered almonds in a a dry fry pan as well as
toasting the sesame seeds separately.

The toasted dry Ramen noodles give it an interesting crunch.

  1. We did a recipe almost identical to the one in the book. Does it count? It was really good, and yes, break the Ramen noodles up fairly small. The recipe we had also added a little butter when toasting the noodles, almonds and sesame seeds and added a bit of sugar at the end of toasting so they were almost candied or glazed.
